Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC provides professional 24/7 towing and roadside assistance in Oak Lawn, Chicago, and surrounding areas. This Dispatch Fee & Cancellation Policy protects both the customer and our company by clearly defining service terms and payment authorization.
By requesting towing or roadside assistance services from Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC, you agree to the terms outlined below
Dispatch Fee Requirement
A $75 dispatch fee is required to secure service. The dispatch fee becomes earned once the driver has been dispatched and is en route to the service location. The fee is fully earned upon driver arrival on scene
This dispatch fee:
- Covers driver travel time, fuel, vehicle wear, and operational costs
- Confirms your service request and reserves a driver exclusively for you
- Will be applied toward the total cost of your towing or roadside service if service is completed
- Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC will not dispatch a driver without dispatch fee authorization and payment confirmation, except in special approved cases.
Payment Authorization Agreement
By providing payment information and authorizing payment, you agree that:
- You are the authorized cardholder or authorized user
- You authorize Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC to charge the dispatch fee
- You agree to this Dispatch Fee & Cancellation Policy
- You understand the dispatch fee is earned upon driver dispatch and arrival under the conditions described below
This authorization serves as legally binding consent for payment and service dispatch.
Non-Refundable Dispatch Fee Conditions
The dispatch fee is non-refundable once the driver has been dispatched to the requested location, including but not limited to the following situations:
- Customer cancels service after driver dispatch
- Customer cancels service after driver arrival
- Customer hires or uses another towing company
- Customer is not present at vehicle location
- Vehicle cannot be accessed safely or legally
- Customer provides incorrect, incomplete, or misleading location information
- Keys are not available when required
- Vehicle conditions were not accurately disclosed
- Customer refuses service after driver arrival
- Vehicle is blocked, inaccessible, or in restricted area
These situations represent completion of dispatch service and fulfillment of operational commitment.
Refundable Dispatch Fee Conditions
The dispatch fee will be refunded only if Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC is unable to complete service due solely to company fault, including:
- Tow truck mechanical failure prior to arrival
- Driver error preventing service completion
- Dispatch error caused by Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC
- Equipment failure preventing service completion
- Incorrect service capability representation by our company
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Remaining Balance Payment
If towing or roadside service is successfully completed, the dispatch fee will be applied toward the total service cost
Any remaining balance must be paid in full upon completion of service.
Failure to pay remaining balance may result in legal collection efforts.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding:
- Vehicle location
- Vehicle accessibility
- Vehicle condition
- Key availability
- Clearance limitations (garage height, underground parking, etc.)
Failure to provide accurate information may prevent service completion and result in forfeiture of dispatch fee.
Chargeback and Payment Dispute Policy
By authorizing payment and requesting dispatch, customer acknowledges and agrees that dispatch services begin immediately.
In the event of a payment dispute, Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC will provide service documentation, dispatch records, and GPS confirmation to the payment processor
Third-Party Services

Limitation of Liability
Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC shall not be liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service request.
Right to Refuse Service
Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, illegal, or outside operational capability.
Estimated Arrival Times
All arrival times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, road conditions, or prior service commitments.
No Guarantee of Service Completion
Dispatch does not guarantee successful completion of tow. Service completion depends on safe access, equipment capability, and disclosed vehicle conditions.
Vehicle Condition & Damage Disclosure
Customer acknowledges that Roadlift Towing & Recovery LLC is not responsible for pre-existing damage to the vehicle. Customer agrees to disclose any known damage or special vehicle conditions prior to service.
Severability
If any provision of this policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
